Product Description:
The Silica brick is the acid refractory,which consist mainly of tridymite,cristobalite, and a small amount of residual quartzand glass phases.The silica content is 95.6% or more.It has acid corrosion resistance and higher temperature strength. The load softening start temperature is 1620 to 1670 ℃。Long-term use at high temperature does not deform. The thermal shock stability is low(heat exchange in water for 1^4 times).This residual expansion will make the joints tight and ensure good air tightness and structural strength of the masonry.
Silica brick for glass furnaces is made of high purity quartzite and compound mineralizer with perfect grain size distribution, pressed and sintered. It has high SiO2, low flux (AL2O3+2R2O), low Fe2O3, high refractoriness under load, low true density, low residual quartz, high tridymite and cristobalite. It could be directly laid without polishing because of uniform configuration and precise measurement. The product is widely used in Crown of glass furnace, regenerator arch, breast-wall of doghouse etc.
